Update 8/10/22: Changed a 3 star rating to a 5 star. Glad I came back a year later to try this place again. Huge improvement on the food! Nice presentation, and delicious. Service was great. Original review: Had high expectations based on reviews from friends and reading them online. Beautiful place. Nice seating arrangements. I was not as impressed with the food as I thought I would be. What we ordered tasted like an average brunch for the most part. The “Big Daddy” had potatoes that tasted like they were from the day before. I was not a fan of the gravy, and the film on top was proof it had been sitting. The rye toast was great. The “Goat In The Garden” was the fave. The “Avocado BLT Benny” was good. The “wow” factor wasn’t really there. Previous presentations of food I’ve seen were better than we got. Fruit was cold, fresh, and delicious. Service was fine, although food came out at separate times (party of four). Location is awesome.

The adult menu was not only satisfying but thoughtfully composed. The kids’ meal was simple yet very tasty — our child loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a calm morning. A special thanks to the sweet and caring staff — they were attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The food was amazing, my server was awesome, very attentive. I only wish there was one closer to the westside.......UPDATE...... I would have change my review to maybe three stars today, although I've been here numerous times and it's always been exceptional today I got the pork chops and eggs breakfast and the pork chops were so overcooked that I could not even chew them considering they were thin pork chops to cook probably should have known not to cook them very much, maybe have a talk with the chef and let him know not to cook them very long. Everything else was still good other than just the pork chops. Extremely overcooked.
Were visiting friends in Jacksonville who suggested this place for breakfast. Restaurant was pretty busy on a Friday at 10am! Had to wait to be seated but luckily, since it was just two of us, we were able to seat at the bar. Staff was very friendly and helped each other deal with the crowd. Food was very good as well. We both had skillets. Mine was the BeeBee with home fries which were perfectly cooked (soft in the inside and crispy on the outside). My husband had the Douglas over hash browns. What I really liked about his dish was that they grilled the turkey! It added great flavor to the dish. Coffee was good as well. Oh, and the rye bread was amazing!!! I personally think the wait was worth it and would definitely be back if and when in town.
Just had breakfast here with the family for the first time. The only negative is the wait for a table, but that’s because they’re doing something right. Food and service was great. My daughter loved her cookie dough waffle, and my eggs benedict were on point. Look forward to coming back and trying something else.
We really loved this location! We haven't had a chance to come to Canopy Road Cafe for a while and let me tell you, we will be back more often. The food was delicious and cooked just right. The service was great and I love how open this newer location is. Come give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
I wish I would have taken photos of our order but we were hungry! I got the steak & eggs with home fries & the steak was cooked perfect with great seasoning. My husband got a BYO omelette & was delicious. My daughter got the kids pancakes & they were amazing. Great food, great atmosphere. Definitely would go back if I’m on this side of town.
Nice place! We had breakfast on a weekday, and didn't wait a minute to be seated (around 10.30). But around 11 it got busier. We ordered omlette and sweet potato pancake. Everything was fresh and delicious. Waitress had a birthday, and she was so nice and attentive!
